Two attempts at eating here...... I have given it two chances...but it is just not my thing.

You need to make a reservation or eat at the spacious bar. That is because in the suburbs any place worth going to will always be busy. Food was tasty, and the special sauce isn't necessary and not mixed well, but the star for me was my mai tai. Towering over the table, I can down 'em all night long! I also enjoy how they don't cut the calamari into rings. That is so 2001! :) Service was also superior juxtaposed by havingbeen ignored by THREE bartenders downstairs at Dave & Buster's across the street a week earlier.

I've been to other PF Chang's which are pretty average, but the food was not very good quality... I do know that this isn't really Chinese food, but merely Chinese-American but, I've had food from some Pei Wei(their "lower" end restaurant) that was much better.

i have been to three p. f. chang's locations - first the one in warrington, then the one in atlantic city, and finally this location for my nineteenth birthday this past saturday. the wait was SO LONG, even though we had a reservation! the people walking in the door were told that there was an hour and a half wait, and that was at six. if you want to eat here, definitely call ahead. our waitress seemed a little rushed, but that was probably because the restaurant was really, really packed. she got all of our orders right and didn't write everything down, she was really excellent. we ordered the tofu lettuce wraps, dynamite shrimp, and salt and pepper calamari for appetizers. all three were delicious. as for entrees, my mother and i both got the oolong marinated sea bass, which is usually about the size of a deck of cards at the other locations. this piece was three times as big! it was delicious and melted in my mouth. for dessert, i ordered the great wall of chocolate, which they brought out with candles for my birthday. overall, a good experience (:

It's a chain, but so what. If you've never been to one you are likely to be surprised. Every rule has an exception. I have been to this location twice and once to one in Vegas. I have yet to be disappointed. The food is fresh, flavorful and relatively inexpensive [for the quality]. And, as a gluten-free diner, I particularly appreciate their dedication to alternative menus. (The GF Spicy Chicken is a favorite that will keep me going back). Their online ordering system is easy, too. So, before you settle once again for run-of-the-meal, mystery-meat from a wok, try Chang's. They're hopefully redefining American-style Chinese. Slowdown and enjoy.

How HAPPY was I to hear that they opened a PF Chang's right down the road from me! Now I don't have to drive all the way to AC or Baltimore for some delicious, cheap Chinese food with its trendy atmosphere. Yup, its a chain, but super deelish food. And wow is this place super affordable. Three friends and I split 5 entrees, chicken lettuce wraps, a large bowl of hot and sour soup (that served at least 2 bowls for each of us), and two alcoholic drinks for $83! Boy were we shocked when we got the bill! Stuffed tummies, great service, lovely atmosphere, and all for a reasonable price. I'm weird about giving out 5 stars, but I give this PF Chang's a 4 and a half.

The food and service was great here! We had a big group (14 people), and they had no problem setting up for us after making a reservation. They were quick to serve us and we were all very pleased!

Mediocre at best. I'd rather hit up the Chinese Buffet at the mall instead of this place. Service was good, but that's about all. For the price you pay you can go to any other Chinese take out place and get twice as much and the quality of the food will probably be the same.

For the price, the food is delicious and well portioned. Drinks are excellent

Let's be realistic here. P.F. Changs is a CHAIN. As long as you get that you will be okay. The décor is made to be smooth, cool, sophisticated and duplicated to some degree. If you have been in one Chang you can pretty much feel you've been in another. This one just happens to be new, so they were able to build the outside area onto it. I have been going to the one down Route 1 and 202, but this one is now closer to home. I like to go every once in a while. NOT every month. Just got back from a dinner there, so I thought I'd write while everything is still fresh in my memory. If you think you can walk into this place on a weekend evening, I hope you do not come hungry. You will give your name at the desk and be given one of those beeper thingy's. Then you will wait. And wait. We had a reservation and we waited close to 30minutes. NOT HAPPY. The host/ess were fine and busy. We were finally shown to our table, brought our drinks, our order taken and then we waited. My Gawd, what fools we be. We had ordered everything that they considered an entrée. No appetizers. Our fault. The wait seemed unbearable. We eat family style so the table was covered with no room to spare. Snap peas, cucumbers and a noodle dish from the Gluten free menu. NOTE for you people with Gluten intolerance. The owner of the Chain himself I've hear has this condition. We had the chicken dish that is quick stir fried, the special salmon in soy sauce over rice, and the grilled shrimp in lemon grass. Brown rice for the table. The snap peas were just okay. Nothing special. The cucumber w/ sauce was better. The noodle dish was very flavorful. The chicken dish was light and moist and came with broccoli. The salmon was just a smidge dry from the grill, but if you put the rice and sauce over it, mmmmmmmm, it was great. The open grilled shrimp with lemongrass still w/ shell add a little extra lemon sprinkled over - nice and I have to say everyone at our table just had a cup of coffee and that was enough. The noise level in this place is about a 7-8 on a scale of 10. There is very little romance here. If you like soup get the wonton soup, but don't expect to eat it yourself, it can feed 4 people easily unless you are ordering nothing else. The chocolate cake----some people say they die for. After having it 3 or 4 times, I'm ready to move onto something else. I don't know what these dessert shots are, but I saw them as I passed on my way to the table. Looked interesting. 3 dessert choices in a somewhat large shot glass on a white plate. Hmmm wonder what is in them. Maybe next time. There is a new Redstone restaurant directly opposite P.F. Chang's that opened last week. Ah the competition. Dave and Buster's opens in a little bit. The whole mall is changing. Chang's is located in between Boscov's and Macy's on the outside of the Mall. Oh yes - I wanted to tell you about the Host on our way out. Our friend went to get the car and I glanced around the restaurant and noticed the guy behind the front podium. Boy was he in Zombie land. A little freakie. They wear headphone gear and black outfits. He's just staring out the front door totally zonked. It was 10:15 PM, so he must have been tired. But it was like a scene from a movie. Imagine Will Smith from Men in Black just standing there as a room full of people are eating, running food to tables and the world turns. I wanted to run my hand up and down in front of his face and see if there was anything working behind his eyes. But then I had to leave. Oooooh I hate to leave in the middle of a movie.

As I felt from my previous trip to P.F. Chang's, they season their dishes with too much salt. My date even exclaimed that it was too salty for her tastes. Now, this is not to say the food isn't good. It's very good, and made very fresh. What surprised me the most was the price. I initially felt P.F. Chang's was in the upper reaches of price. But, I was pleasantly joyed by the tab. I really like the interior decor of P.F. Chang's. It's not over the top with its influences of Asian Art or artifacts. There isn't a hint of fake Silk Screens, Calligraphic Scroll and Kimono's hung everywhere. They use the actual architecture and dining set-up to create the atmosphere. Most of their cuisine can be secured from your local Chinese eatery. Yes, at half the price. But, I think P.F. Chang's does it a bit fresher, which makes the taste entirely different.

Although this place is a chain, the service is exceptional, and the food is amazing! I always start off with the Changs spare ribs (hint of star anise), and always share a meal with my boyfriend b/c theres so much food (we even have leftovers for the next day). Save room for dessert. The banana spring rolls are the best thing ive ever ate. Give it a try!

My husband and I adore this restaurant. The food is always fresh and they obviously make it there as opposed to shipping it in frozen. The staff are quite good and are willing to accommodate special orders. That part of the review is for "normal people". However, If you have allergies, they are spectacular! I'm celiac (allergic to gluten) and my husband is allergic to dairy and they have never messed up one of our orders. They even put special orders on special plates so you can tell that they've gotten it right. Not only that, they have a large menu for celiac eaters, which is quite unusual. It almost reminds me of when I used to go out to eat at restaurants and had my pick of the menu. So? Fabulous. Fabulous. Fabulous.

I love this place, especially their crab wontons, lettuce wraps, Ginger Salmon and Mongolian Chicken, Beef, or Shrimp. I love the atmosphere too. Even though it's a chain, it's one of my favorite places to eat.

Ok, so I swore in my original review that I would never step foot in here again. We were starving after a long airplane ride and didn't want to search for a place near the airport. So we got on the blue route, headed for home, and saw P.F. Chang's as we were exiting the blue route. I said "fine." We ordered. A server brought an appetizer of fried string beans, which we didn't order. He walked away before we could say anything. Off to a great start, I thought. We flagged someone down and they let us keep the appetizer. Delicious. We ordered lo mein and a veggie stir-fry. All delicious and came out hot. I guess the key is not to order something off the menu that is meant to be spicy, but requesting it mild. I don't like spice, so I've decided to stick to mild menu items.

It was alright. Needs more spice especially the sesame chicken. I went for the lunch special bowl. I have to try the dinner one day though. However, I have to try there the dinner menu to say if it was really good or not.

My husband and I were pleased with our experience here. I had beef with broccoli and it was TERRIFIC. Tasty and filling, and not over cooked. My husband loved the beef with broccoli as well as the Hot and Sour soup. He is very picky about Hot and Sour soup, so this really means a lot! What I really appreciated is when you sit down, they immediately ask you if you have any dietary restrictions. I think this is great, because personally I cannot eat dairy, so they gave me a listing of entrees without dairy to choose from right from the start. The staff was nice and the price was not bad! Loved the dimly-lit ambiance as well.

I've been to PF Chang several times for lunch (because my co-workers like it) so I've given it many chances to win me over... but sadly it's nothing more but AMERICANIZE CHINESE FOOD with a nice decor. The service is good but the food is medicore at best. This is really no better than chinese take-out. If you're looking for good chinese food, you should just go to Philly's Chinatown. Oh yeah, it's wayyyy over price too.

Nice decor. Good prices. Hospitable wait staff. Decent food. I recommend the lettuce wraps and the honey shrimp. Everything looked good as well. I too was skeptical of a Chinese Food Chain, but I can't wait to go back.

Looks to be fairly new and pretty clean inside. The hostess and servers were pretty attentive and got us to our table and our drink order filled quickly. She came back with our drinks and then took our order. Since we were in a bit of a rush we ordered the lettuce wraps and some dumplings. 10 minutes later she came to make the Changs sauce and paid attention to how we wanted it flavored. Some servers just kinda do their own thing when it comes to how much mustard and pepper goes in it. The wraps and dumplings came out and I was a tad disappointed to see that the dumplings were mostly breading with a tiny bit of meat inside, I realize they are mostly breading to begin with, however this was nuts. The wraps were ok but not as flavorful as we have had them before. Maybe it was just the fact it was a Tuesday afternoon and their A-list cooks weren't on but the food could have been much better.

i love their special right now for 2 people~ $40 for two people, which includes an appetizer, two entrees and dessert! for appetizer, THE BEEF RIBS are phenomenal, and for entrees the BROCCOLI BEEF can't be beat. the desserts are just the mini desserts and they were good too.

I have to strongly DISAGREE with the last few negative reviews of PF Changs. I think the food is FABULOUS. The Mongolian Beef, Hot Fish and Garlic noodles are SUBLIME and the Banana Eggrolls with Coconut and pineapple ice cream? Well let's just say that dish would included in my last meal ( along with roasted Veal Bones- 'cause I am a marrow freak). Service can be slow?? then don't go to the restaurant on a Friday or Saturday night when you know it's going to be packed. It is still crowded every night but go on a Tuesday or Wednesday. The decor is very nice- upscale. The one negative about the restaurant is the horrible music they play- like bad acid house music where all I hear is the booming mixed with the high volume noise of the restaurant. They need to either A) Play classical , new age music or B) nothing at all and possible re-vamp the restaurant since it is VERY noisy. By the way the appetizers are also excellent . Also the prices are much cheaper than Sang Kee Asian Bistro in Wynnewood, PA. For example- a noodle dish at Sang Kee is $10 versus the garlic noodles at PF Changs which is $6. We ate there ( 3 people)- had 3 appetizers, 3 main dishes, 4 drinks- 2-alcoholic and 2 non-alcoholic, a pot of tea and dessert and the bill was $90. So to sum it up- Great food- Very noisy- Crowded so go at an off -peak time. Cheaper than the upscale Chinese restaurants on the Mainline. Take my advice and order the dishes I mentioned.

Great place to take out the family while grabbing a beer or a glass of wine. Hip and chic without the price tag. And who doesn't like Chinese food. Ok, so it's not "authentic" Chinese but the food is very good nevertheless. The service is consistent and the ambiance is memorable.

I have honestly never been a fan of this place, but recently visited again with a co-worker. I do have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with my meal (lunch). My co-worker has several severe food allergies, so I always leave the restaurant choice up to her. They seem to have plenty of options to meet her restrictions, and are willing to prepare the food properly for her to enjoy. While I don't require the same restrictions I can appreciate their attention to the situation. The lunch menu was decent, and relatively new from what I heard. I ordered the Asian Grilled Salmon with fried rice and a cup of Egg Drop Soup. The salmon was absolutely delicious - I loved it. Like I said, I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. The service was okay.. I felt bombarded by the numerous servers coming to the table (one brought drinks, one took the order, one brought food, another cleared the food, etc). I appreciate their work ethic, but it almost felt rushed. The food also took a while to come out, but that may be due in part to the dietary restrictions/prep of my coworkers meal. All in all it was okay. I probably won't go back (unless dining with her again) but it was a good lunch.

Horrendous food. Quality service Ordered lobster roll / ginger chicken The sushi was thick, it would have been nice to see more than just rice Plus what's up with their rice, it feels like extra starchy jasmine rice. And this is really dry down the throat .. Broccoli tastes of chlorine and chicken is also oct cooked / dry as hell. With the money they charge , I would've expected standard service. Didn't live up.

Foods too salty and sweet, small portion sizes, servers never refilled water and I had to wait for literally 20minutes for the server to bring the check. The store manager was walking around the restaurant with the broom and made dusts while people were eating.

Stopped by here yesterday with my family after work. Our server was very nice (blonde hair short, we were by the bar area). She made sure our glasses were always full. I think she was actually helping everyone sitting in the booths and center tables in the bar area so she had a lot on her hands. The guy from take out/pick up brought our entrée out and I asked if he could bring my daughter a plastic fork and his response was a bit hesitant, "I'm over at take out, but I'll be back." He never came back so I had to ask our server 5 minutes later. The food was mediocre- I had the Korean BBQ chicken, which said it would have kimchi on top but there was no kimchi. It didn't taste anything like Korean BBQ but it was still good.

I have a PF Changs near my home but decided to try this one since it was close to my hotel while away on a business trip. I actually went twice while on this last trip. One visit was on a sunday afternoon where we had a late lunch, early dinner after traveling all day. Our server was nice and the food the same quality as the one near my home. We were in and out quickly that afternoon. The other visit was a tuesday night dinner with my sister who drove in from Philly to meet up with me. Our server was nice but a bit forgetful. Again, the food was fine but my meal came out and my sister had to wait about 5 min longer for hers to come out. Not sure why they did not come out together. I only ate about half of my meal and I asked if I could take it home. My sister and this server got into a conversation about life challenges he was going thru and after getting back to my hotel, I realized he totally forgot to give me my leftovers! Again, he was a sweet guy but was not on top of his game. The place is decorated well and the food was good. Atmosphere = 8 Service = 8 Food = 8 Enjoy!

They get 2 stars for the 2 delicious desserts we ordered after a disappointing bland meal. We wouldn't have gone here ourselves, but we received a gift card and so we wanted to give it a try. First of all, it took a while before our waitress took our order for drinks. I felt slightly ignored. We went on and ordered the calamari as a starter which was just ok. For our main course we ordered the Buddha's feast (vegetables), the Mongolian beef and the honey chicken. I thought it was one of the worst American Chinese foods I've ever eaten. There was no flavor to be found, and the beef was overcooked. The vegetables were ok, though they used too much ginger for my taste. After we finished our main course, it took ages for our table to be cleaned up. We wanted to get to dessert to get rid of the blandness of the main course! We eventually ordered the banana spring rolls and the caramel cake. Both were good! After dessert, our waitress was nowhere to be found (again!). We had to ask someone else to bring our check. Would not come back here. I'd say there's better American Chinese food at the mall!

Always a good experience, and when it wasn't 100% the staff made sure we didn't leave without it being just that. There is rarely a wait for the food and quality is consistent. Management is always visible. There are many regulars here and it is obvious why. The staff truly makes this place which is why we come so often.

Great vegetarian options! Nearly every dish can be made with either silken or hard marinated tofu. My family just loves the food here. We usually get Chang's Spicy Tofu and Singapore Street noodles. Both are great.

The usual PF Chang's.... Great service. The only thing is the wine list. They could revise it a little bit more. They don't have good selection like all other PF Chang's. Otherwise, if you are from out of town and looking for place to eat, this one is safe.

By far my favorite place to go out to eat! Love it and it feels healthy for some reason. Mmmmmm. Try the banana rolls for dessert... The pineapple ice cream that comes with the banana rolls is one of a kind. So delicious!

I have not been to PF Changs in about five years. But last time I was there it was great. This experience the other day was not so good. Food has gone downhill and the service was terrible. We had pad Thai and beef Szechuan and both were subpar. There are a lot better restaurants out there than this. I will not be going back.

Met here with a few coworkers after a long day at the office for dinner and a few cocktails. As mentioned in other reviews, I will say that the service is spectacular on every level. The bartenders were engaging and made a good cocktail, and when we got our table our server was on point with everything from questions about the menu to making sure our waters stayed full throughout our meal. The reason for the 3 star review is, unfortunately, the food. I don't know what it is, but everything on this menu is salted to the point of no return, and I'm a girl who loves salt. Just too much to handle in everything I tasted from appetizers to entrees. The banana desert was spectacular though. Otherwise, it was a very pleasent experience and would return for happy hour or to give dinner another shot, in the hopes that i was just there on an isolated bad night.

Good food for a chain restaurant. There dinner for two menu is a decent buy at $40 with two soups, one appetizer, two entrees and a dessert. Plenty of food. I give it a four for a chain restaurant. But a three overall. I prefer to avoid the chains but when necessary PFChangs is a great choice.

Totally different mix of people. Average age looks in there mid-30's to early 40's and it's a Thursday evening close to 7p with temps at a scorching 63 degrees [lol!-]. The vibe is very chilled amongst the chatter of multiple conversations, slightly heavy bass from the sound system playing Hall & Oats - Maneater :-) and the excessive clinking from the kitchen. [I'm sitting at the furthest end of the bar.] Ordered 2 Spring Rolls that were tasteless. You need the sauces they offer. Bartenders are friendly. It's been at least two years since I've been here and this place STILL has not grown on me. :-( Stop in and form your own opinion. Enjoy!

Much better price to value ratio. Service was excellent. I got in early and the place only got half full. The noise was better. I believe this is still an issue that corporate needs to address. Mongolian Beef was beautiful. Moo Goo Gui Pan had lots of shrimp.

Though I'd never been to P.F. Changs before, I believed that it was elegant, upscale, Asian-fusion - the kind of place you went for special occasions. What I got instead was standard Chinese food (albeit higher quality and with a bit of flair), served in crowded dining room that felt if not run-down, than at least over-used. It certainly wasn't a bad experience - we shared vegetarian lettuce wraps and dynamite shrimp for appetizers, and both were delicious. The lettuce wraps could serve as a whole meal; the shrimp, not so much. For dinner, I had the crispy honey shrimp, which both sweet and tangy, as promised. I liked that the menu was sorted by components (seafood, chicken, beef, etc) as it made it easy to zero-in on what I wanted. Our server could not have been any friendlier, though was a bit slow in getting back to us with the check. When we arrived at 8:30, same time as our reservation, we were seated promptly in a dining room that was still very full. So full, in fact, that it appeared they hadn't had much time to clean. There was a dirty fork under our table, the whole place looked like it could use a vacuum, and the table had that slightly grimy feel of an old lacquered diner top - not what i expected from P.F. Changs.

Went for lunch with 2 other friends. Waitress was outstanding, great service with lots of attention. The food was we expected. Tasty, hot and well seasoned. For lunch it had a very decent crowd. Not too noisy but enough people there to make the place alive.

I love Pf Changs. they deliver a quality product every time. I've never had a bad experience. My husband and I went there after a disaster of a night at another local restaurant. We arrived around 915p on a Friday night. we were sat and greeted immediately. I ordered the agave margarita. if you haven't tried it, please do. it's easily one of my top 5 favorite margaritas. for dinner I ordered the lettuce wraps. I wasn't starving. and they are a great go to app. my husband ordered hunan-style hot fish. loved it. was spicy and perfectly cooked. this meal really helped us bounce back from a rocky night. prices are great and service is always good. people might not think so highly of chain restaurants, but Pf Changs delivers a consistent high quality product.

If you have ever tasted any kind of Asian cuisine before, stay away from this PF Changs. They cannot say that this is any sort of asian/chinese restaurant. I have never been so unsatisfied with a meal before. I had heard that they had tasty lettuce wraps, so we were very excited to try it. Disappointing. Singapore noodles were hard, some parts seemed undercooked, and the taste wasn't just bland...it was bad. Salt and pepper calamari - *sigh* Another bland, tasteless, soft, mushy small pieces of a baby squid. I expect calamari to have flavor, texture, ... at least some sort of BITE. They gave us a cup of salt and pepper. ????? were we supposed to dip it in that? Well, we tried and almost died from the salt. Beef and broccoli lunch order with fried rice was another disappointment. The taste was tangy and sour but not the right flavor. It was just a brown saucy tang. The fried rice looked more like brown rice with some raw carrots tossed in. Did not seem fried or seasoned. Every bite had a rock hard piece of rice that seemed frozen or had been sitting out for days. Shrimp with lobster sauce was the wrong smell, wrong taste and how do you undercook mushrooms??? The white rice that came with that was almost inedible. It was so hard and dry that I wasn't comfortable giving any to my child. Something is very wrong if you can't get simple white rice correct. I am angry at myself for having wasted so much money on terrible, bland food. I would have rather spent the same amount of money from a corner chinese store in the ghetto. At least then we would have known what to expect. If you have thoughts of going to this place, DON'T. Hop onto 476, 76 then get off Broad st and go to chinatown. Anything and everything is better there and worth the extra drive. Heck, drive around plymouth meeting and go to the first chinese restaurant you see. That surprise place is guaranteed to be better than this place. The service does not reflect on my poor review. She was attentive, friendly, and always smiling. The entire staff seemed nice and professional, but that's not enough for me to ever return here again.

We stopped in for a very late dinner after catching Godzilla and the service and food were great. Our server, in particular, was attentive, helpful, and very friendly, even at 10 pm! The moo goo gai pan was good and the buddha's feast had a great source and tender five spice tofu. Plus, having a brown rice option is always a plus. 3 stars for the food but an extra star for the service.

I always find myself coming back here. Am I a sucker for chains?? I always know to expect a good meal at P.F. Chang's, and this one is no different. First of all, everyone loves their lettuce wraps.... AND they have vegetarian options! The gluten free menu is what draws us back as the MIL is a gluten free vegan. I, on the other hand, go for the Chang's ribs, both with the sauce and with the dry rub (ask for both....they'll do it). Hubs loves the salmon dishes and I order traditional Chinese dishes such a lo mein and rice. If you're still hungry after your meal and have a few willing friends, try the Great Wall of chocolate for dessert. This location has a nice patio, complete with blinds and heaters. This P.F. Changs in general is two thumbs up. One time we were there, we heard a woman giving the wait staff a hard time because of the breeze when the patio door opened. When our waitress came over, we told we that we were sorry that the other family was rude. We ended up getting free dessert!

Note: this is specifically a review for the PF Chang's To Go service. If you're looking for the restaurant, try my restaurant review at: yelp.com/biz/p-f-changs-… , or any other review from all the other Yelpers! Having worked in Malvern for a while, I pass by Plymouth Meeting on my drive back into my apartment in Philly every day, but the traffic going that way usually looks pretty foreboding. Finally, I gave in and ended up at PF Chang's, since I was desperate for some Asian goodness, but decided to give their To Go curbside service a try, since I wanted to grab the food and head back home. So I tried ordering from their mobile app... and it is SUPER easy. I'm really impressed with how well designed the app is, and thankfully, even with my recent switch to Android from iOS, the app is still pretty much the same. So I placed my order, and they can have it ready within 15 mins (or so the app seems to allow). In any case, I got there, and I wanted to try the curbside delivery, since the order had already been charged to my card. And that was the first (but only) hiccup. I called the number for the restaurant to say that I was there, but it kept ringing and nobody picked up. I know that there's even a camera for them to see the folks parking in the curbside pick-up spots, but no dice. No worries, I went in, and then suddenly realized why nobody was picking up. Kind of hard to pick up the phone if nobody's manning it. :) It seemed like it was super busy, so no harm done, and I grabbed my order and headed home. Everything was amazing, as usual, and was packed very well. My only tip would be to avoid the crispy green beans, since they don't stay crispy that long due to the humidity in the container. If you really must have them, try to vent them by opening the container lid a bit to prevent the steam build-up, but then beware of the fact that they may smell wayyy too good and you may finish them before you get home. Just a heads up, since I've gone through that experience first hand. I've been back for several other times, and the curb-side pickup really doesn't seem to work for me, but that could just be my bad luck. Bar that one aspect, their To Go service is just as awesome as the place itself! TLDR: Great service, but be wary of the curbside delivery claims! Might be faster to just go in!

First off let me say that the other four times I have been to PF Changs (Atlantic city) it was delicious. This is the reason we decided to dine here for valentines day. Horrible idea. We were sat Within 10 minutes of our reservation which is great considering it's a holiday. We got drinks and food but my martini didn't come until our second course. Also, it wasn't until after our second course that we received silverware and napkins...which we had to flag someone down for. The plate we received with our appetizer was blatantly dirty, we had to request another one. My soup had a small black hair on the dish. Then when our dinners arrived the shrimp we ordered was so salty it was unbearable. Another server, who served my second drink halfway through dinner, brought out another dish for us instead which was less salty but not good at all. Not once did a manager stop by the table..I don't even think our server had any idea about our first dish. The experience was horrible. I will most likely never dine at PF Changs again even with my past good experiences in Atlantic city. I wish I could go back in time and dine at Red Stone which is located right next door. Never again.

PF Changs, although it's a chain restaurant, is one of the best and most consistent Asian food restaurants that you could ever go to. The ambiance is very relaxed and friendly. The servers are all very personable and easy to work with. I normally order the crispy honey chicken with white rice, which is great. I also recommend the chicken fried rice, which is not your average fried rice, but also contains vegetables and sauces. The dumplings and spicy tuna sushi are great as appetizers. I'd absolutely recommend PF Changs for dinner or lunch.

A little on the salty side for me. I think some of the flavors are overpowering in the food. I would prefer Han dynasty any day for Szechuan Chinese food.

At the mall and we were looking for a quick lunch. Were seated right away and found the lunch menu on the back of the regular menu. There were two of us so one got the egg drop soup(very viscous and not flavorful) and the hot and sour soup(decent flavor, what you would expect). Entrees were sesame chicken, which was moist and sauced nicely with sweetness and a bit of heat and the Sichuan beef, which was fried strips of beef with jullianed carrots and celery. A bit salty with too much celery for my taste, but satisfying and portions large enough for a second meal. Service was attentive certainly a cheap meal, nothing great, but perfectly adequate.

Great food and service and bar. My boyfriend and I went there today for his birthday. I like how it's decorated and the waiters and waitress are helpful. The food and the environment are both very Asian fusion, you can find the hint of Chinese but it incorporates with those modern and American elements so well. Our favorite dish is the appetizer tuna takaki, it's seared tuna but still raw in the middle, it's tender and fresh, definitely try it if you are a tuna person. And our fav entree is the hunan-style hot fish, it's not authentic but the sauce and the tenderness of fish really make it a great one. For desert, try the mandarin key lime bar, the sourness of fruit compliments the cheese so well and it's a great wrap up for the meal. Again, we like this place a lot. ^_^

My partner and I go here quite frequently and we always have the best service. The bartenders are incredibly friendly and very efficient. We always try to go here for happy hour for the lettuce wraps and the warm sake! Highly recommend this restaurant and location.

I am an asian food lover!!! And I admit that this PF Chang is ok! The service is very nice. Have to admit though that their food is very oily and as someone said before very loaded with sodium. Were not too happy about the cleanliness of their glasses. It has been the 2nd time today that the server had to go back several times to get us clean glasses. I do not mind water stains but smeary glasses are just gross......Seriously???? Several weeks ago this almost ended in a fiasco until the waiter hand washed them.... the glasses were ok but not great!! Altogether they are ok but not too great!

changing to 2 stars...I gave it a 1 star and have reconsidered and want to be fair. Not real happy with my last experience here so its 1 to 2 stars . PF changs has always been spotty and this particular location always having worse food than changs in Lawrenceville NJ or other locations I have been to. the appetizer lettuce wraps are always a mostly flavorless pork filling but this time we had the added benefit of the lettuce pieces being solid white pieces of iceberg lettuce that had zero flavor and made the whole dish a pain in the ass to eat. the ginger chicker was ok....sort of food court quality but not horrible - but not good. the dan dan noodles were the lowlight of a bad meal...can PF changs go to an authentic Chinese place and see what this dish is supposed to be. (han dynasty, some other Szechuan place, etc) It was poorly designed and I'm sure poorly executed.....flavorless, mushy noodles, overcooked, the server stirs the noodles for 60 seconds before serving a giant bowl of mush (I give this a dish 1 on a scale of 1 to 10 on quality) anyway we won't be back unless we have another gift card but I'm not ordering any of the stuff I got this time......too many other places to spend my time and money.

Its definitely an upgraded version of your local chinese food spot minus all the grease! The food is clean, fresh and falvorful. The vegetarian lettuce wraps are great, but for the size of the dish they need to serve it with more than 4 lettuce leaves...lol The pear mojito was strong too! :)

The norristown area has a lack of good chinese places so P.F. Changs always fits the bill. Wish I could find a local place with just as good food but this place always delivers!!!

The wife and I ate here for the first time one week ago. We have eaten at other PF Changs and they were pretty good but this was definitely the best experience we ever had at any of them. Besides liking Chinese the other reason we eat at this chain is because of their gluten free options which my wife needs for her food allergy(celiac). We always eat early around 4:30 so we were quickly seated. As usual the food was very good. But the thing that set this apart from other PF Changs was our waiter Andrew. He came to our table quickly after we were seated. They didn't have Blue Moon on tap so he recommended something for me which tasted good. When he had the kitchen prepare our meals he had them do both gluten free so I could share with my wife if I wished. I thought this was a nice touch. He was very friendly and attentive during our meal even though it seemed like he had quite a few other tables. He was definitely one of the best waters or waitresses we had at any restaurant. We will definitely eat here again and asked to be seated at one of Andrews tables.

I'm not a big fan of chains but needed a quick bite before a meeting. In the cluster of restaurants I figured this was the lesser of evils. Started with hot and sour soup. Service was prompt and it was not bad. Followed up with Kung Pao scallops. To my surprise the scallops were well cooked and not over done. The sauce had a nice spice to it. Maybe a good option in a pinch. Great service.

I came in with high hopes and left with slight disappointment. Our server was super attentive, and very friendly; however I feel like the food was disappointing. Our egg drop soup came out right away at a nice piping hot temperature and when the rest of our food came out it was practically room temperature. Feeling adventurous, I had ordered the Shrimp with Candied Walnuts entree with brown rice while he ordered the Sesame Chicken platter. I like the idea of sharing food, but my food was too busy all on its own without adding something else to the mix. The brown rice was cold and very bland while the shrimp was overly sweet and I didn't feel like the candied walnuts and melon balls were complementary flavors. The chocolate cake we had for dessert was amazing though; 6 layers of chocolate on chocolate. It was so sweet and rich, we ended up sharing a slice. So to sum up, service was great, dessert was great, but the food needs some work. Sorry PF Changs, I just am not impressed. One thing I will note (that our server told us) is that they are very big on catering to food allergies (especially gluten).

Plymouth Meeting, PA. PF Changs. Early 2013, rain, 39 degrees. Thank you PF Changs. Thank you for teaching me to slow down a little. After the slightest sip your hot and sour soup scalded my lips and mouth and reminded me that nothing is really sure in this life. Thank you for teaching me patience. The screaming child to my left hasn't stopped once despite it's parent ignoring it completely (hey kid, I know, I had the soup too). Thank you for teaching me to endure against incredible odds. I've almost stopped eating twice due to the fact that your Changs Chicken tastes and smells as if it was marinated in formaldehyde and sadness. These are just a few of the reasons I'm grateful to you. Keep on doin' what your doin'. Praise Satan.

Not sure why this place gets a bad review, but I had a great meal and a good time. Only waited about 20 minutes to get seated on a Friday which wasn't bad. I was in the mood for something spicy and this place delivered. I highly recommend the crab wonton appetizer. They give you 3 sauces and they were delicious! Some kind of mustard/horseradish sauce. For an entree I got the Mongolian beef which was also delicious. My waiter was cool and the Long Island Iced Tea was huge ha.

Chain over priced asian inspired food...... I am so sick of the schtick where they mix the sauces together and try to sell Apps. I will order what I want. Usually its just soup and dumplings, both are mediocre. And parking at this location is a nightmare between it, the Redstone Grill , and the Mall. Better off getting take out and going home.

Curiosity killed the cat, but luckily didn't kill me. As you might know, P.F. Chang's China Bistro is a casual family restaurant (there are many drink options, but no shots) that serves American Chinese cuisine. That's stretching it, since they aim to be more upscale and healthier than a corner Chinese takeout joint, resulting in less tasty food, and food that's pricey for what you get. This P.F. Chang's is attractive, large, and really dark. It's tough to snap photos, and even tougher to see your food. Parking-wise, they share a busy mall lot which makes it tough to find a spot near the place. Arriving early, we got a buzzer to tell us when our table was ready - did you know that you can take it into Dave & Buster's next door and it still works? Service was excellent, pleasant and speedy. Our server kept our table of eight happy, even getting us a free Chang's lettuce wrap appetizer ($7.50), much appreciated and much enjoyed (and I'll be back for her number - kidding). Along with the wraps, my cup of peppery hot and sour soup ($2.95) did the job, coming with an assortment of chicken, tofu, bamboshoot, mushrooms, vinegar, and more than enough pepper. My beef pepper steak ($12.95) entree was a piddly portion for the price, drowning in sauce. Once I wiped away some - no need for their table sauces - it tasted okay. There wasn't any table pepper, but there was plenty of black pepper in it, and the crunchy bell peppers and yellow onions helped. To my surprise, my white rice tasted like white rice, not Uncle Ben's. Comfortable with sharing? Dishes are served family style, and I got to sample everything. Try their spicy scallops, and skip the tofu coconut dish. For dessert, three of us mauled a plate of their Great Wall six-layer chocolate cake. It was a bit sweet, but we managed to finish it. I'm not exactly a sweets person, but my friends enjoyed it.

It's OK. Service is usually pretty good and the atmosphere is good. A little bit of an open feel. I've eaten here for lunch several times. The food is OK.. generally good, sometimes served not quite as hot as I'd prefer. To me, there's a sameness to many of the individual dishes. I'm not sure why, but it seems that the food is prepared the same for every dish, with just variations in seasoning. If you're nearby it's not a bad place for lunch, but there are other alternatives.

I just cannot bring myself to find this place worth it. I've been here twice because of the ultra-convenient location (and, OK, the pretty cool equestrian stone leviathans flanking the front door). While the food was fine, I always have opportunity cost regret when I get the check--$50 for the two of us to eat food that I would have enjoyed more from my local chinese restaurant for half the price. So an all around meh experience--service, food, value. If you're hell bent on getting fancy-ish chinese good, I suggest going to this place's more casual little brother, Pei Wei, on City Ave. As for PF Chang's, I think that there's a high probability that those stone horses that lured me in could end up as equine Ozymandiases, telling the story of something that existed long ago.

Pathetic service. I never ever wrote reviews online in my whole life but this restaurants poor service encourage me to share my worst experience there .i went to PF changes to celebrate birthday with another 12 people. First they took 1 hr to serve our starter then they took another 1 hr to serve our main course and we had to tell them again and again to serve us. They embarrassed me front of my guests for being a bad host.

I visited PF Changs yesterday for lunch with my sister. The weather was beautiful and we sat outside. I have celiac and am always concerned with allergen information. Not once did I feel like I was an inconvenience with my questions. The menu has a separate section for gluten free and the waiter, Brian was able to answer my questions concerning the summer additions. We were going to order tea and I wanted to make sure the tea was gluten free. I asked Brian and he paused, probably never having even considered tea may have gluten - I hadn't found out until recently either! He went back and ran a full PF Changs allergy matrix for me - and actually printed it up. He gave it to me, confirmed the tea that they currently had on the menu was gluten free and thanked me for teaching him something new. He also let me know that he shared with the other staff members that information. My experience was fantastic. I really enjoyed the quinoa "stir fry" summer selection and the gluten free chocolate dome was melt in your mouth yummy. Our waiter was fun, knowledgeable and engaging. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

I reluctantly agreed to meet an old time friend here for drinks at happy hour, as the last time I was there it was unmemorable, but I left there pleased and liquored up. We sat at the bar, and was happy to see my tall, attractive, blonde, friendly bartender, who has been there for awhile, ready to serve us. She was, and always is, quite attentive, cordial and a smooth operator. My martini was filled to the brim, a large glass, very easy to get toasted, this is reason enough to go and sit at the bar. They have a happy hour menu which is quite varied, some selections are large enough to be shared, or small enough to eat a few by yourself. The happy hour prices I thought reasonable. Anyway, we started with splitting the dynamite shrimp, flavorful with quite a nice kick to the dish. 4 stars for that dish, about a dozen medium sized crispy shrimp in a nice spicy sauce, a great dish to share. We had the chicken lettuce wraps, a decent 3 star dish, again large enough to split. To be kind of healthy I ordered some steamed dumplings, the first serving of dumplings (3 dumplings of each) filled with shrimp, (just OK), the second was pork (good), and the third lemon grass chicken (the best of the bunch). My friend had the ribs. He said that they were "not bad". I haven't been there in about six months as I got sucked in to the lively bar scene at Redstone next door. But for a few happy hour apps, large drinks to kick off my buzz, this was a good place to start and then we went to Redstone afterward to scope out the talent. ;-)

After visiting the branch in jersey, I was hooked on their happy hour special. Love the Northern style bbq ribs. You can't beat the happy hour special. I don't even need to order from regular menu. Just a few items on the happy hour + 3drinks and I'm good to go. This was my first time at this location. Now I know it's close to home so I can come back anytime. I got the shrimp dumplings, lettuce wraps, northern style ribs and mahi mahi tacos. I ordered the Mai tai (LOVED IT)..then I got the agave margarita which was tooo strong and the waitress had to get me a Sprite to dilute it. I was tirpsyyyyyy...not tipsy. LOL. I ended up bringing the ribs home because i was already stuffed on the other items. I was happy to come here to use my $10 gift card I got from the philly rock n'roll marathon. PLUS I signed up for the PF Chang card which gives you 10% off your meal. Will use that next time . Happy eating.

Why is everything here either: Salty, extremely fatty, or way overpriced? The bar area is cool, would definately take a date there, but the drinks are rediculously expensive. I had a work function here, tried every appetizer, all of them were so salty or so fatty that when I got home I slipped into a mini-coma on the couch. I can't verify where the food comes from, I hope not China.

P.F. Chang's, what happened to you? We went with friends of ours, one of whom is allergic to mushrooms. Bad decision. The allergen menu had somewhere in the neighborhood of three items for him. Amy the waitress was extremely rude to our table, including making a disparaging comment about the fact that our other friend was allergic to tree nuts. We ordered two appetizers - Lettuce Wraps and string beans. The appetizers that came out? Lettuce Wraps and Calamari. The waitress was rude about this as well, saying "I guess I'll let you keep it without charging you for it." Dessert was not even safe from them. Our friend had the mini dessert, thinking it would be something normal sized. Her tiramisu was served in a shot glass.

Well I was trying to avoid reviewing chains but this restaurant went above my expectations so here it goes... This location just opened Monday, it is in the parking lot area of the Plymouth Meeting Mall. So parking is not an issue at all. The restaurant has a chic look using dark woods for their tables & decor along with black napkins & chopsticks. The plating is nice and creative. All of the dishes we tried were very good. Not overly saucey or salty, but well seasoned. Probably the best Kung Pao chicken I have ever had. Their Chang's Spicy Chicken (their version of General Tso's) was also very good, could have been less sweet & more spicy but still very enjoyable. Their array of mini-desserts were very tempting so I will have to go back soon & sample some. I am excited that they have an outdoor seating area since the weather is getting nice and the food was good.

I don't love Chinese food and P.F. Chang's occasionally reminds me why. I've been to 3 of their locations and have never had a stellar experience at any of them. I am pleased, though, that there are buildings occupying the property in Plymouth Meeting other than that pitiful structure they call a mall. We dined relatively early when the restaurant was barely full but I felt rushed by our server. He also completely glossed over any explanation of what the sauces were that they provide. I ordered the chow fun noodles with chicken and was disappointed to see that that was the extend of the meal: chow fun noodles, chicken, and scallion slices. Would the addition of some other vegetables be inappropriate? It irks me that one has to order most of their dish via the appetizer and side dish section if you want to create something well-rounded. I found the noodles to be rather lackluster in flavor and largely dominated by the long scallion stalks that I had to pick out of my bowl. The outdoor patio is a nice addition, though, for warm-weather dining. I doubt I will rush back here unless accompanied by someone delirious for their food.

My visit to P.F. Chang's had two major influences. 1) A Gift Card. 2) My girlfriend. Accompanied with my far better half, I sat down for a handful appetizers after a late movie. My first impression is that the place is too crowded with tables. I ordered some Chinese standards: Hot and Sour soup, Egg Rolls, and Fried Won Tons. The one stretch piece was the Salt and Pepper calamari. The first course was Hot and Sour soup. You could tell the soup had been sitting all night and did not have the good kick that a Hot and Sour soup should. The next course were the regular appetizers. The Fried Won Tons were crispy and delicious. The Egg Rolls were soggy and lifeless, and i've honestly had better ones at a hole in the wall place. The Calamari was tasty, but not nearly as good as I hoped it would be. As for the service, it was good enough. I didn't expect much because we were seated late on a Saturday and i'm sure everyone was worn out by that point.

When in Rome, eat like the Romans. When in the suburbs, eat at a chain. Lettuce wraps: Decent. Beef a la Sizechuan: One must have some pretty weak tastebuds to declare this "the spiciest dish on the menu" Dan-Dan noodles: Bland-Bland noodles Chengdu spiced lamb: Actually surprisingly good. Just the right amount of mint and heat. Spicy green beans: The salt, oh the salt!!!! Wine: Wasn't expecting much, but it was okay. Service: See wine description. Oh, the culinary experiences we suffer through for family.

New Review: Food was pretty good overall and the menu had a bunch of interesting selections. I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely go back and give it one more go-around. Old Review: I don't understand the fuss over this place. The food is not particularly good and is dramatically over-salted. They seem more interested in having interesting cocktails than in focusing on the cooking. To top it off, it's kind of expensive. The only really fun and enjoyable part of the meal was dessert. It's nice to be able to order a shot glass taste of a few different desserts. We ordered 10 for the table and shared tastes of them all. They were good and the perfect size.

Absolutely awful food. The spicy chicken was bland and gooey. The orange peel beef was also flavorless. The chicken in the lettuce wraps may have come from Popeyes though theirs might actually be better. We did have good service.

This place as just awful from start to finish. We were seated right away, but our waiter took at least 10 minutes to come by and take our drink order. It was at least another 10 minutes before the drinks arrived at our table. The place wasn't busy, but the service was SLOW. Not everyone wants to spend 2 hours to eat dinner! As far as the food, it all tasted the same, underneath the sauces. Fried, fried and more fried. Glad someone else was footing the bill, because this place sucked. We'll never go back.

Just took my dad here for dinner tonight, not my first time for the chain but my first for this location. We had an early dinner, were sat around 5:30. Perfect timing as the restaurant was nearly empty. Because by the time we had finished our meal, the restaurant had filled up. Not that you could tell unless you looked at the full tables, because the service was great from start to finish. Our server (Mike) was really excellent, very prompt with everything, had a great balance of professionalism and personality. He recommended several dishes to my dad, who had never been here before, and was very patient with all of his questions. I loved that he was both able to do his job and be quick with everything, yet also take the time to chat with us and not seem like we were annoying him! They have happy hour during the week, and not just in the bar, from 4-6. Beers, wine, cocktails, and appetizers were on a separate menu for 3-6 dollars. We ordered some egg rolls, the crispy dynamite shrimp and the short ribs. I've had the dynamite shrimp before, battered shrimp in a creamy spicy sauce, and they were good, but the short ribs were by far my favorite! They were slightly crispy on the outside and really juicy on the inside with a dry rub seasoning. For entrees (I know, we ordered three appetizers and two entrees. Don't worry, we took almost all of it home.) he ordered the combination lo mein and I ordered my fav - dan dan noodles! The noodle dish sounds so weird and plain but it's just a huge bowl of delicious asian comfort food. Hot noodles, ground chicken, a slightly spicy brown sauce and some julienned cucumbers and bean sprouts to cool it down and add texture. The best dish ever, I crave it all the time. My dad enjoyed his lo mein. It looked fairly standard, but he said it was not greasy like takeout and that all of the proteins were cooked really well. Good enough for me! I know there are a ton of reviews here and this may not mean much. PF Changs may not be like, omg the best restaurant ever. But I was really happy and satisfied with my experience tonight, as was my very picky father! So just wanted to let people know that it is possible to have a great time here.

Aside from the fact that it is a kind of expensive, I do like PF Changs. I was there in time for happy hour so I had a glass of Riesling for $5 and I split the Pre-Fixe (2 4-course meals for $40) with a friend. We had the hot and sour soup which was not my favorite. It lacked heat and flavor compared to other hot and sour soups I've had. We had the chicken lettuce wraps which I love. The hot ground chicken with the cold lettuce is a great combination. I had the orange shrimp which was spicy and very tasty. For my mini dessert I had the lemon cream which was soo yummy. This place is nice for a treat but definitely not somewhere you would frequent. Their food is good but not outstanding and for the price, it doesn't really make the mark. Their servers are on top of their game and their staff is friendly.

I have no idea what the attraction to this restaurant is. .Is it the cool sculpture or decor because" honey it sur ain't da food" It's crowded and loud and not very good. The service sucks it's too dark to read the menu and the food is greasey grease grease. When I asked for my dish spicy hot and it was bland the waiter brought out chili OIL to add to my already oil drenched dish Yuk! It is also way overpriced.trust me hit the buffet at the mall .Food is better and cheaper and not near as drenched in grease.

Foods good here. The crispy orange chicken was tasty and plentiful. The Mongolian Beef was pretty much 8-10 pieces of beef and the rest green onions smothered on top. Beef very tender had good flavor. Service was rather slow. Not many people in my section, it took about 10 minutes to get my tab, and another 10 for her to pick up my card. *** If you are allergic to shell fish do NOT come here. My friend is allergic, and they gave him a photocopy stapled menu with like 5 options.****

In a blind taste test, I'm not sure I'd know which lo mein was PF Chang's vs from my local takeout place. However if you want to eat Chinese food in a restaurant, this is the better option since it has the better ambiance. This location also has lots of outdoor seating. When I came here for lunch yesterday, I thought it was odd that they had us wait with a pager. The place wasn't full by any means. Maybe they didn't have enough waiters available. Generally I think $14 is a lot for lunch. This seems to be the trend though among the chain restaurants in Plymouth Meeting.

I had no idea PF Chang's was so hip. First we tried going to the one in Glen Mills - at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, we were told there was already a TWO HOUR wait and that we should have made reservations up to a month in advance. Are you kidding? For a chain restaurant serving faux-Chinese? I was flabbergasted. Anyway, a few weeks after that, we tried out the Plymouth Meeting restaurant (with reservations made far in advance). They were even flexible when we had to change things up at the last minute. Ordinarily I wouldn't go for this place but here's the thing: PF Chang's is heaven on earth for gluten-free people, with something like 10-15 entrees to choose from. They even serve GF beer (Red Bridge, made from sorghum). The egg drop soup & chicken/lettuce wrap appetizers are also GF, and there's an uber-rich flourless chocolate dome for dessert. Since I hadn't been able to eat Chinese food in ages and was jonesing like a fiend, my delicious GF beef w/ broccoli was a chorus of angels singing Bach cantatas. In any case, we were all very pleasantly surprised. Sure it's inauthentic, but it was damn tasty. Thank you, PF (or should I say GF) Chang's from the bottom of my stomach for your concern for the celiac nation.

PF Chang's provides you with average Americanized Chinese food for a higher price than your average Chinese joint. I've been to this location a couple of times. The service is good and the atmosphere is fine but both times I've been relatively unimpressed by the food. It's not bad, it's just not that good. I prefer to go to my neighborhood Chinese take-out place instead. Try the Mai Tai.

Finally got to try P.F. Changs. We noticed everything we wanted was on their $39.95 pre-fixe menu so we went with that. We both started with the Egg Drop soup. It tasted much better than it sounds. Because I read about the lettuce wraps in another review, we chose those for our appetizer. It was very good although it was also messy. We were only given 3 leaves of lettuce and had to wait for more. Steve chose the Honey Chicken and I chose the Beef and Broccoli for our entrees. They brought out Honey Chicken and Mongolian Beef instead but we chose to keep the beef because it was very good. Mini desserts are also included with the pre-fixe menu. I chose the Chocolate and Steve chose the Strawberry Cheesecake. I thought they were ok but you can tell they are low calorie desserts.

This place is an overpriced chinese food imposter. I really don't know what they are trying to accomplish, but I can only figure out one thing. PF Changs is the Olive Garden of Chinese food. People will always know what they get when they walk into a PF Changs. It will taste the same and the menu will be familiar in Philadelphia, Orlando, Los Angeles, or New York, or etc. It should be called lazy tourist chinese food. PF Changs is for people who have never had real chinese food. Don't waste your time or money. I could review the food, but it's not worth my time. It was all greasy and probably looked just like the pictures they have posted above the line in the kitchen for the cooks to copy. Service was good, but it was your typical phoney overtrained chain restaurant waitress routine.

This P.F. Chang's location is probably the best I have been to - service was great, food was good and came out quickly, and the restaurant was very clean. They have a nice outdoor seating area for the summertime, and a good bar as well. If you are looking for a consistent and reliable restaurant in Plymouth Meeting, P.F. Chang's fits the bill.

PF Changs issues: 1: gritty plates, like all the detergent wasn't rinsed off, 2: serving plates were not warm, so the food cooled off quickly, 3: long wait (10+ min) from when our dinner plates were cleared and dessert was served, 4: Table was not cleaned after dinner. I've experienced better.

I'm a fan. Came to this place in bad weather, still packed, so they must be doing something right. Make sure you try the sake ginger mojito. Food came out super fast and I really have no gripes with any of the choices that I picked. The rice that comes with the meals is somewhat bland i guess, but there signature pf chang rice is on the money. I really liked the decor of this place as well as the layout, they have a bar, an outdoor seating area, and really awesome chinese architecture outside with those two sculpted horses on the way to the entrance.

I came here for lunch with co-workers. Wasn't my choice. I was thinking "how bad can it really be?" The answer to that thought...really really bad. We started with wonton soup, which you can probably find in any american chinese restaurant anywhere. I had their singapore noodle. It did not have the right kind of noodle. It didn't have curry flavor. Everything was very far off from what I know this dish should taste like. It's like the chef never had this dish from an actual Chinese restaurant. So I immediately try to forget my association with this dish and try to judge the dish on its own. The flavor it did have was single profile. It felt like they mixed ginger, soy sauce and suger and poured it over. The noodles didn't have any bounce to it and broke too easily as I was picking them up. Also among the food we ordered there was some chicken dish that resembled Wendy's asian chicken. It probably was my mistake that I came here. I would never come back to P.F.Chang's ever again. I would gladly order americanize chinese food anywhere in any suburb than come here. Maybe I will go to Wendy's and get their chicken dish before even dreaming of coming here.

Food and service very good. Only complaint is that the children's portion is tiny! (at least the lo mein is!) good for a5 or 6 year old not pre-teens!

Second time here , and the first time wasn't even worth a rating....Ok so Friday night date night we decided to stay local and away from Center City Philly.I very rarely have a taste for "Asian Cultured Cuisine",and I'm not much for a chains either..so as you guess I wasn't too thrilled when my fiancé suggested we eat here. Atmosphere is cool, dim and a good place for two or a whole family. The problem is that most of what can be order here is being served elsewhere for a better price, portion and taste amazing. So I start with a appetizer, Crab wontons, which were okay, however,The sauce they served with it taste like something was missing. For my main course I ordered honey seared shrimp with white rice. The white rice came in the form of a cold gummy lump slapped into a ceramic bowl.Pretty sure my nine year old could have done a better job. The shrimp taste like something I could have ordered from my local Chinese store, and the portion was very small(6 shrimp)...I can't speak for my fiancé 's meal, which looked way more appetizing.(spring rolls and lemon peppered chicken with peppers). After giving my taste buds a wet dream, I decided to order dessert to make up for it.Banana wontons and vanilla ice cream as suggested by my waitress. At last!!!! this was the best part of my night.delicious, sweet and just what I needed to redeem the mediocre meal.Way to go P.F Chang's you have managed to fool us all with your decor and prices into thinking that your food is anything but stereotypical.

At a small retirement luncheon, I ordered the Thai crab salad expecting something ... well tasty with a little heat. The dish is bland in appearance as well as flavor. Everything was white, except the julienned carrots and served on a white plate. The pieces of crab were minuscule, the shreds of carrot too thick compared to the size of the noodles, flecks of cilantro but not enough to provide flavor. Once in awhile I found a sprout. Overall there was not much flavor to any part of the meal. When I find myself shaking bottles of sauce haphazardly I know the dish is off. The worst for me is that I splurged thinking this would be dinner and left the table still hungry. Our server was nice but they kitchen sort of messed up some of our orders so they didn't seem very efficient. Coffee was good but, in general you can do better elsewhere.

Rather surprised by all the negative comments. I consider myself a bit of a gourmand, and, yes, Chinatown is better, but PF Chang's is what it is - solid Americanized Chinese food done well. I am not a fan of chain restaurants by a long shot but find that PF Chang's is consistently good (I've been to four locations now) with fresh food, overall great service (just ONCE I had a bad experience with service), a nice atmosphere and fair prices. Lunch, in particular, is decently priced. I can feed myself and my two daughters for less than $40. What other reviewers didn't mention - it's a good spot for vegetarians. Personal favorites: the spinach with garlic, the spicy tofu, the chicken lettuce wraps, the lo mein, good dumplings, great salads, awesome drinks. Forget the naysayers and give it a whirl!

I don't know, kids.. I'm just not feelin' the Chang. I went with three other people, and all of our food was mediocre... Like, I've had better Chinese takeout! But at least with Chinese takeout, there are no delusions of grandeur (stupid sauce mixing at the table.. Puh-lease! Macaroni Grill called, they want their shtick back...!) like 500 sharing plates on your table, Chang's this, Chang's that. Get over yourself, P.F! Anyway, we were there for like 500 hours bc every course was so drawn out and Chang-ed up (yeah, I've made it into a verb)... and so every one of our meals was luke warm when it arrived. I'm like, umm aren't you cooking in a wok? How is my food cold? Anyway - there were a couple things I did like. The stir fried spinach with garlic was delish, and cooked really nicely, the tea selections were above average, and the "Great wall of Chocolate" dessert was a hit at our table :) But overall... I won't ever Chang again.

Alicia F loves this place. I adore Alicia F. Therefore, I was destined to like this place even before I ate here. And luckily, it was pretty damn good. We lunched it up here and started with the crab wontons - uhhh, amazing! My bff then sold me on the Singapore Street noodles (as did the waiter, who was super sweet and said "gracias" every time he put something on the table). Those noodles were yummy, and I have enough leftovers for two more meals. I'm not the world's biggest fan of Chinese food but this place might make a believer out of me. Who would have thought that my life would be altered forever at the Plymouth Meeting Mall (not me, that's for damn sure!)?

I went to this extremely crowded place on a Wednesday night and still had to wait 30 mins for a table. I will just summarize now unless you want the gory details below. My expectations were high and the food was bad. I have heard good things about PF Changes, great things in fact about the food and the quality etc. I went in and was just disappointed after every moment i was there. I had requested a booth to sit in for me and my wife. We get there, and after our beeper beeps we are seated in....a small table against the wall...i inquired about where my booth was they said that none are available and it'd be another 20 min wait. (sign of things to come?) So we sit down and our waiter asks us for our drink order, we order and brings over a thing of sauces but doesn't say what they are or why they are there.... We order egg rolls, dumplings, a Changs spicy chicken and double pan fried noodles. The dumplings were good, but the presentation was key, the dumplings were 4 to an order for 5 bux....high in my opinion. Egg rolls were two per order and were bland and very mediocre and again for 5 bucks....kinda steep. We finally inquire about the sauce after our apps and the waiter was like OMG totally forgot about that! And mixed stuff...i wasn't impressed and basically ignored the stuff there. Entrees. I was expecting great things but again was highly disappointed. The chicken tasted like McDonald's chicken nuggets with some duck sauce and some hot pepper mixed in. This is their "addicting" dish? It sucked! The pan fried noodles were good, i enjoyed them but they were odd. To summarize, this place was OK, but not worth the price nor the wait. I kept saying the entire meal I'd rather have gone to yangmings in bryn mawr or San Kee in wynwood which is never a good sign when i go into a place with high expectations. I know that alot of people are giving this good reviews but i just can't as it wasn't good. A very disappointing experience.

This was my first visit to any P.F. Chang's and I really don't understand the hype. There was a wait so I was expecting some good eats, but I was not impressed by any means. The fried calamari was average. The mongolian beef was comparable to any americanized chinese takeout place. The sweet and sour chicken was neither sweet nor sour. Service wasn't great. At least they give you fortune cookies at the end... I heart fortune cookies.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
